Who would have thought, chilling on the block during our high school years running around chasing girls and writing lyrics, you would have blown up and represented Toronto on a world stage- with pride and respect for all. “The world is yours” Athletes World hit the nail on the head when they started that Ad campaign with you front and center. They saw what FLOW 93.5 saw when you won their inaugural Soul Search talent contest in 2003. Rappers can learn from you, not rapping about hoes and negative situations. Instead, you have used your stage presence to show respect to women and talk about bringing hope.Toronto has now become your block. Your tracks launched MuchMusic’s Urban Video station and Toronto’s “Basketball City” on Sportsnet/Raptors Television. Universal Music Canada chose the right man for that title, “My Block” with the song “Too Long.” You’ve reached stardom, being a role model to the youth, and helping underprivileged children in struggling communities here and abroad. That’s what defines a true star.
